Clean Labs: We have two fully equipped clean lab facilities for ancient DNA extractions and PCR setup. They are completely physically separated from the offices and any biological laboratories. They have positive air pressure, nightly exposure of surfaces to UV-irradiation and are cleaned with bleach on a weekly basis. Full body suits, face marks and glows are always worn in these facilities.
Post PCR facilities: We have tree lab rooms for work with modern DNA. They contain all equipment and reagents needed for DNA extractions, PCR, cloning, and sequencing, including a capillary sequencing machine.
